Our in-house developed software – HEGIAS VR – is the world’s first automated, cloud/browser-based solution for visualization and collaboration with virtual reality in the planning, construction and real estate industries. Want more of this? See our explainer video. Your new job You will join our CMS development team of talented people. We manage our projects agilely. We have a defined software development lifecycle. In your new position it’s important to understand the needs of existing and potential new customers, to translate them into well-defined features, prioritize these on the product roadmap according to the product strategy, in close collaboration with the CPO, UX/Design, and Engineering, and to create and refine actionable user stories.. Your tasks Nurture ideas and solutions to existing customer problems Define customer needs and lead the conceptualization of features Gather, manage, and prioritize product backlog (discovery & delivery) Conduct sprint and release planning with the scrum team / Engineering Guide the scrum team to develop product features that fulfill the specified requirements and meet or exceed the customers’ expectations Brief and manage the product development team Communicate effectively with team members from different disciplines Define and refine features and user stories with correct acceptance criteria Draft product roadmap and inform product strategy Track development progress, constantly keep product delivery plan updated Prioritize support tickets and bug reports into releases or patches Approve quality assurance policies and procedures Conduct external communication -in collaboration with QA- of new features and updates This makes you the ideal candidate Minimum 2 years of experience as product owner in (an) agile team(s) Successful track record of developing digital products within deadlines Assertiveness & strong decision-making skills Ability to work with large and interdisciplinary teams Creative and innovative thinker, creating solutions that work Knows how to solve complex problems by breaking them down into well-sized parts/features/stories/tasks Strong knowledge of agile principles, processes, and ceremonies Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Effective and fruitful interaction with various stakeholders Excellent attention to detail, sharp analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in AEC or related industry is a plus Master’s in business administration or similar preferred If you would like to be part of a great success story and are convinced of your qualities, then Andreas Schmeil- our CPO – looks forward to receiving your application letter including CV to @jobs PDF
